Regarded as Port Vila's most romantic restaurant, Michener's offers diners a scenic view of the surrounding seas and township. Named after James A. Michener, the writer of Tales of the South Pacific our restaurant focuses on local delicacies with an international twist. 

Our sous chefs Alick and Alick are both Ni-Vanuatu. They successfully add a local flair to Iririki’s dining experience and have a few medals and trophies from Salon Culinaire Vanuatu under their belts to prove it. 

"To My Friends in the South Pacific,

I am delighted, and flattered that you have thought to attach my name to the fine restaurant at beautiful Iririki Island Resort in Port Vila Harbour. Many of the fondest memories of my travels stem back to my years of military service in the New Hebrides - now Vanuatu - during the Pacific War years of the early 1940’s.

While those beautiful islands have changed much with progress in the ensuing years, I know from subsequent visits, that the friendliness of the peoples, their infectious smiles and their openheartedness will remain forever one of life’s treasures.

I wish all who read this, good dinning, good companionship and good traveling through my beloved South Pacific.

Located on the Iririki beachfront, Watermark restaurant provides guests with a unique dining experience, overlooking magnificent views of Port Vila Harbour. The Asian-inspired menu integrates a fusion of flavours from the Pacific and afar to satisfy the discerning diner. 

Our Executive Chef, Dikpal has worked in many kitchens across the world (Dubai, The Maldives and Nepal to name a few). In his travels Dikpal has picked up a wealth of culinary knowledge, which is reflected in the international influence of the Watermark menu.

Watermark Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from tandoori prawns to lamb kebabs. The tasting plates are Dikpal’s personal favourite and a must try for visitors with an international palette. 

An exquisite Asian buffet is also available on Saturday nights which combines a delicious selection of Asian dishes. We would recommend tasting a little bit of everything!

Bali Hai Café & Bar is the perfect place to sit, sip & relax. Located poolside, Bali Hai is the perfect place to enjoy a tropical cocktail or indulge in a mid-afternoon snack. 

As the sun begins to set, Bali Hai Cafe & Bar transforms into a hub of activity with live entertainment taking over til dusk. From fire dancers to footy games and karaoke nights, Bai Hai Cafe & Bar is always buzzing with excitement.

The Bali Hai Cafe & Bar is also home to 2012's Barista of the Year – Mako. Our very own coffee connoisseur adds to a great team of friendly bar staff that make the best tropical cocktails in town.

Featuring a swim-up bar, Sunset Café & Bar is the ideal place to spend your afternoons lounging by the pool. Enjoy a light snack or a decadent beverage from our extensive selection while you relax by the lagoon pool and soak up the South Pacific sunshine.

Sunset Cafe & Bar is a great place to catch the sunset and stargaze from the comfort of a lounge chair as well as being in the perfect location to feed some hungry mouths that have come out from a day by the pool.

Every Tuesday night at 6.30pm, Iririki offers guests the opportunity to experience Vanuatu's rich culture by hosting a culinary feast of true local cuisine. A vibrant display of traditional dancing and singing accompanies this celebration to exhibit Ni-Vanuatu traditions.

Enjoy this time relaxing and mingling with other guests who are just as keen to see what Vanuatu has to offer - all without leaving the island.
